Offered for your consideration is this General Electric tabletop tube radio – model C-600 manufactured in the early1950’s.  It has a typical 50’s edgy design. This 6-tube radio is in very good condition - highly collectible and as good as it gets. The oversized five-inch speaker is loud and clear and the radio brings in a lot of stations. The fire engine red coating is a high-end product that resists scratching. This is a working radio ready to play, display and enjoy. As with all my radios it is electrically fit - the tubes are strong and all of the original wax/paper capacitors have been replaced.

Also featuring: a two tube “push/pull” output for much better sound. A classic 50’s body styling: a slide rule dial that is clean and clear; the grill is brass, covered with a layer of clear plastic; the knobs are original and in good shape - both work smoothly. The cord has been replaced with a polarized plug the original back is present, as is the original decal on it.

The measurements are: 12” across, 8” high and 7” wide. This radio will continue to give years of good service.

 Why a purchase a radio from rosscd57?

Every vintage tube radio I sell has been thoroughly serviced - tubes tested, components checked and then the unit is lubricated and cleaned inside and out.  The work performed can be seen in the pictures of the chassis and/or found in the radio description.
