What is MDGuitars?
When MD-Electric Guitarline debuted in 1997, it started with the development and sale of inexpensive guitars. However, in order to break away from the stereotype that musical instruments are cheap, we shifted to developing musical instruments that are truly valuable, and the MDMM-Produce line was completed.
These are the combination of the know-how gained by musical instrument producer ToshiOwa and the commitment of Japan's leading musician Masaki Matsubara to turn ideas into reality.
With this theme, this book is a collection of the two people's know-how, from selecting wood to setting up parts.
We are confident that our top model, MD-Premier G1, will be passed down as a masterpiece of MadeinJAPAN for future generations.
From the second half of 2013, G1-Reborn will be added to the lineup as a reborn (Reborn) of MD-Premier G1 with excellent cost performance because we want more people to experience this know-how.
These products were created as a series that was assembled and supervised by Mr. OWA himself, combining the on-site requests of professional musicians, the characteristics of wood, and parts.
Following the passing of Masaki Matsubara, this MD standard model was reborn as G1Reborn in order to carry on his spirit!
The Reborn model retains the concept of G1Signature as much as possible, and has a well-balanced finish with specs that are acceptable from a cost standpoint.
The semi-hollow body structure produces harmonic overtones, creating a plump and rich sound. In addition, the top is made of beautiful quilted maple that is overwhelmingly eye-catching. The set neck structure and boldly cut joint heel enhance playability in high positions.
2 humbucker pickups can be switched to single coil with a mini switch. This allows you to output 6 sounds, which is double the usual 3 patterns! !
It produces a sound that is unimaginable for this price, and considering the price, it is a workmanship that can be said to be sufficient.
