1939 Milkman Home Delivery Route Book Heavy Duty Leather Pouch
This vintage milkman route book belong to a family member that was a home delivery milkman from the year 1939 thru 1967. He retired in 1967 just after THE BIG SNOWSTORM OF 1967 IN CHICAGO. The stories he told us that he had to do on his route during the storm were almost unbelivible during the 23 inch snowstorm, working 16 hour days in order to complete his route. The route pouch has been well used but still in remarkable good condition. The routes he worked on where, Dairy Lane, Bowman, Gould Dairy and Wanzer. If this pouch could only talk and tell us the stories. Please look close at the pictures as they are part of the description.
