Q: How should I dilute the degreaser?
There is
no right or wrong way. For faster result we recommend using a stronger mix
however for lighter tasks it can be diluted further. A good rule of thumb is to
start with a weak mix and add degreaser as needed.
Q: How should I use the degreaser?
Again,
there is no right or wrong way to use this product, the supplier recommends
using the provided brush (if purchased) to brush the degreaser in the desired
areas. We do not recommend that you leave delicate parts such as anodised components
or painted parts soaking within the degreaser.
Q: The GUNK degreaser states,
"Not for use in parts washers”?
A: We have tested this fluid personally in our parts washers with no issues.
Our supplier states this message is only displayed for possible safety and
legal reasons to cover the manufacture which is GUNK. The GUNK degreaser is a
non-solvent water-based fluid, it will not degrade the pump, nor the parts
washer in anyway.
