Incredible vet-bring back battlefield pickup double decal M35 “reissue” with Field Grey paint over early war Apple Green. Dirt from the battlefield still visible.

Model 1935 helmet painted in early war green and refitted in 1940 with darker grey Wehrmacht paint. This suggests serious/long term use throughout the war.

-Both decals fully intact under field grey paint (some people uncover them. I believe in leaving things as original as possible).

-1940 dated liner band (visible, never removed)

-Mud/Dirt from battlefield visible (especially on rear) - helmet is exactly as found by the veteran

- SE66 (large desirable size) Lot No. 3229

- Leather liner and drawstring present - supple but in poor shape - will not degrade further if kept in comfortable climate.

This is the real deal, exactly as found and clearly saw a lot of action throughout the entire duration of the war.
