This Large vintage footstool is not quite square and has a solid mahogany rosewood frame with Queen Anne legs. It has a removable upholstered seat. The frame is in fair condition, the varnish has diminished in places, the wood is sound. This item has been previously refurbished and one of the legs has been attached with a bit too much glue, something that would be very easy to fix, See Pictures. The seat is in fair condition and could be used as it is or you could reupholster it and give the frame a refinish to bring it back to its former glory. It would also make a great prop for a play, Tv show or Film as it does add a bit of diminished grandeur to a room.
