CASE: The 16-size oversized 45mm rose gilt open face swing-out case features enamel decorations and is signed “Leton.”
DIAL: This fancy porcelain dial displays a deer, and horse hunting scene with Roman numerals and Breguet hands.
MOVT: The keyset gilt verge fusee escapement movement has a full-plate layout and is unsigned.
C 3-62 (The case is in very good condition, alterations)
D 3-59 (The dial is in very good condition, restorations)
M 3 (The movement is in very good condition)
R 8-1/2 (Rarity on a scale of #1 being very common to #10 being extremely rare)

This watch is a verge fusee pocket watch. Verge fusees were popular from the 1600’s through the mid 1800’s. Even when new, these watches were not exact time keepers; and now that the watch is at least over 200 years old, we do not guarantee that this watch will keep time. We do guarantee that the watch does run when wound and will run for a period of hours.
