This is the XTREMELY RARE1954 PRE-"S" "Admiral's Fleet " Gift set from Revell.  NOTE:  I assessed these kits a year or so ago—I did not choose to mess with the parts in the celllo packages inside the zip lock bags!! In putting this one together I fractured 3 other cello bags of parts!!

There are 5 kits:

USS Nautilus: This set has the BLUE  1953 USS NAUTILUS…not the 1954 and later GRAY kit.  TAll parts are there.

PT-212:  Small Parts are loose....will reinventory...but Ive got many parts if this baggie is incomplete!!

USS The Sullivans:  Small  parts are APPEAR “sealed” in very fragile cello.  I believe the cello may have a crack--again..im not messing with these.

USS Los Angeles:  Small Parts are sealed? in cello

USS Missouri: Small Parts are sealed ?in cello

 Unfortunately the box cover leaves a lot to be desired.  I have and have had about a half dozen of this gift set…none have or had good boxes.  I came upon a blog from 2009 [!] and the blogger commented on how poor the box covers tend to be---he also noted how extremely RARE this gift set is…and that was 2009!
