1960's High School Yearbook with photos and mentions of graduating senior and future LSU Tigers and NBA star Pete Maravich who was the school athletic hero and appears in many basketball pictures. Great condition and period design.

Pete Maravich was twice College Player of the Year, 3-time Consensus First Team All American, leading the LSU Tigers with an unprecedented career 44.2 points per game. This and his total career total points (3,667) still hold as college records. In the NBA he was a fan favorite who had a dazzling ability to create on the court. He was Rookie of the Year, NBA Scoring Leader, a five-time NBA All-Star, playing for the Atlanta Hawks, Jazz, and Celtics, and he was elected into the Hall of Fame.  His best season he averaged 31 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists and scored 68 points in one contest. His Jersey #s were retired by the LSU Tigers, Atlanta Hawks and Utah Jazz. He later dedicated his life to Christianity and often when he would sign an autograph would include a quote from scripture.

Excellent condition hardback with tight binding and text and clean pages, with no must or mildew or missing pieces, and very mild shelf wear. Clean and Solid.

Great rarity for a collector of basketball memorabilia showing the early life and times of one of Basketball's favorite sons and greatest performers.
