There in no other Quartz ring like this listed anywhere on eBay, it is huge, the setting is sublime, the stone being set into a rub over colette setting so it will never catch on clothes, one of the most astonishing rings you will ever find & not to be confused with hideous modern rubbish.
This is a gorgeous modern vintage ring (I bought this just over 30 years ago from a studio in London, for the life of me I can not remember where) & it is of exceptional quality, clearly hand made, & crafted out of solid silver. This had literally just been put in the window & it was love at first sight .
The astonishing 20mm long quartz has a flat base, then the top has been cut and faceted into an early step pyramid shaped dome, set into a rub over colette setting & highlighted by a narrow silver frame of around 4mm. The face of the ring is a full 26mm ( just over 1" long) by 18mm wide, well made with a lovely patina, & it looks like it just has walked out of a designers studio (which is did albeit over 30 years ago ).
There is only the very lightest of wear, no serious issues, but only mentioned out of wanting to be scrupulously honest, a light polish by a decent jeweler will have this look like new, & the beauty of this ring is that you can wear it anywhere. IMPORTANT you remove this ring by easing it off from the underside the shank you do not pull it off by the head of the ring
