Offered here is this Nice Folding Solid Wood Antique Rocking Chair. The chair is in good condition structurally, but has a lot of light surface scratches to the finish. Unfortunately the caning on the back and seat is all but gone and so the chair will need to be recaned. The chair is designed to fold for storage or ease of portability. I would imagine that it is designed for a smaller person. I am unsure of its age or manufacture. It has a lovely carved floral design on the top of the backrest. The chair is 34" tall, 18" wide, 29" long at the rockers, 18" high at the seat, 18" deep at the seat, 17.5" wide across the front of the seat, 14.5" wide across the back of the seat, 15.5" wide across the frame at the back of the seat, and when folded, it is 41" long , 20" wide, about 10" "thick". It is a very nice antique rocking chair with a unique and rarely seen folding design. It is sure to become a welcome and treasured addition to your antique furniture collection.
