100% True Blue Celadon Eggs
We have vetted our males. Vetted means we’ve taken blue eggs from recessive females and mated them with one male, hatched those eggs, and raised those chicks to adulthood to ensure they lay blue eggs also (matching recessive female to recessive male) creating a 100% blue egg layer rate. So, unlike other hatcheries, your females will all lay blue eggs. We also specialize in tuxedo celadon quail which means only beautiful tuxedo blue egg laying females make it into our breeding program. Although we go to great lengths to strive for the tuxedo pattern, not all chicks hatched will be tuxedo due to genetic diversity.

Fertility
Our eggs are gathered as soon as they are laid, in the evening, and stored properly (skinny end down, rotated, unwashed, 50 degree temperature).

Hatchability
We have had customers with hatch rates as high as 98% and as low as 13%. Hatching is difficult, especially for shipped eggs from any seller. Most shipped eggs have a 50% hatchability rate due to the shipping process so expect that rate, it's very hard on the eggs. Please do not leave feedback based on your hatch rates as we have no control over the shipping and incubation process.

Shipping
We ship USPS Priority Mail 1-3 Business Days. We ship in the order received. The date provided by ebay is the “ship by date” and it is 10 business days from your purchase. You will be notified when your eggs have shipped, and a tracking number will be provided through ebay. We do not monitor weather in destination citifies, please be advised that if it is too cold/hot where you live, we suggest you wait to order until the weather in your area is more reasonable. By buying our eggs, you are saying that you're okay with that risk. We ship our eggs the same day or next day they have been laid. Eggs do not lose fertility until after the 10th day. Please allow time for USPS to make their deliver. No international sales.

Returns/Refunds
If you’re unhappy with your order, please return all eggs to us for a refund. Refunds will not be given for eggs that have not been returned,  sorry but there are no exceptions eggs must be returned.

Extra Eggs
Please note that extra eggs given are complimentary, they're free from us to compensate you for the rough way USPS handles them. Free, complimentary eggs are not counted towards hatch rate.

Proceeds
We are a small hobby farm. As you can imagine after ebay takes their cut, USPS theirs, coupled with the costs of shipping materials, and feeding & caring for the birds, and federal taxes; there isn't much profit to be had in this hobby. However, if we do manage to turn a profit all proceeds go 100% to the college funds of our two sons and we sincerely thank you for that!!!
