In the 1940s, halos were patented by NOMA Electric Inc. to give a 'neon like' halo effect around  lighted Christmas bulbs

Ours are authentic 2-3/4 inch diameter clear plastic halos with beveled edge and a cutout sized for most C7 bulbs.  A hard fiber piece is attached to steady the halo on the bulb.  Vintage C7 halos fit into four bulb shape catagories (see photo 6) and this one fits the GE shapes of the 1930s through the '60s the best. it is essential that proper bulb shapes be used to avoid dislodging the fiber holder.

Our halos were originally used in the past on lighted Christmas candoliers, angels, wreaths and tree top decorations in the 1940s and early 1950s. When placed above the bulb they create a glowing, soft halo effect with the light.

Halos are in excellent usable condition with clouding of plastic, trivial scuffs, minor scratches, faint heat stress lines; when in use, these effects become essentially invisible

*** NOTE ***  choose the number of halos you wish to purchase and shipping will be the same as purchasing one!
