This listing is for an Italian glass stopper for a decanter.  Old stock from the original NYC importer.  Green stopper.

Measurements:

Widest at the top:  3 1/4"

Width at 1/4" from end of nipple:  15/16"

Width at 1/2" from end of nipple:  1"

The width of the stopper does not exceed 1" in diameter.  Very gradual taper.  Once 1/4" from the end of the nipple it is basically a gradual increase of 1/8" total.

Tape is commonly used around the nipple until a snug fit is reached.

Excellent condition.  Very clean stopper.
