CRAM TERRESTRIAL 12" WORLD GLOBE CAST IRON MERIDIAN & WOOD BASE  IN GOOD ESTATE CONDITION.  It dates to the 1930's- 1940's.  There is some wear to the globe and wood base.  There is a slight separation to the globe.  Turn screw toward bottom loosens to rotate the meridian. Measures 17 1/2" high and 14" wide.  The wood base diameter is 7 1/2" wide.

Persia on globe - Name changed to Iran in 1935.

Japan invades Manchuria in 1931 and renames it Manchukou - Both names on globe.

Vietnam was known as French Indo China prior to 1949
