I have here for sale a Rare book ( with map in the pocket at the back)  entitled FLORA VECTENSIS: BEING A SYSTEMATIC DESCRIPTION ON THE PHÆNOGAMOUS OR FLOWERING PLANTS AND FERNS INDIGENOUS TO THE ISLE OF WIGHT by WILLIAM ARNOLD BROMFIELD. Edited by Hooker and Salter. This Scarce FIRST EDITION ( with the map) was published in 1856 by WILLIAM PAMPLIN, London. With tissue guarded frontispiece and a large fold out map of the Isle of Wight, dated 1850 in a pocket at the back of this volume. 

Bound in full leather boards. Gilt title lettering on a red block to the spine which as 5 raised bands, gilt embossed decoration between the bands. Small loss to the top of the spine which has a repair. Spine ends and board corners are bumped. Board edges are rubbed. Scuffs on the board surfaces. Boards are firm. Marbled endpapers and matching fore-edges. Calligraphed name and message on the verso of ffep plus pencil notes. Stain on the edge of the frontispiece. Small area cutaway from the top edge of the title page. Pencilled notes of beep. This book is in good + condition, pages are clean and bright and are tightly bound with no loose or missing pages xxxv, 678pp 23cm x 16cm.

Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. 

To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account. You can then request a combined postage cost and I will combine the items into the fewest parcels as possible - saving you money :)
