I have here for sale a RARE complete set of 2 volumes of THE SPAS OF GERMANY by the author of 'ST PETERSBURGH' - DR GRANVILLE. Complete with 11 plates, 5 maps - including fold out Skeleton Map of 300 Mineral Springs in Germany, and a fold out Chemico Pneumatic Analytical Table of the Springs, plus vignettes in the text. These FIRST EDITIONS were published in 1837 by HENRY COLBURN, London. The volumes cover Baden- Baden, Stuttgardt, Wilbdad, Liebenzell et al, Munich, Saltzburgh, Gastein, Hallein, Carlsbad, Marienbad, Egra,Pullina et al, Toeplitz, Dresden, Kissingen, Bruckenau, Nassau Spas, Wiesbaden, Shlangenbad, Schwalbach, Ems, regions. A 19th century comprehensive tour of the region. 

Bound in original green linen boards. with gilt title lettering to the spine. Spine ends and board corners are bumped.  Front boards have been reinforced from the inside. Volume I has loss to the inside of the front board. Traces of ink on the inside of the boards and ffep. Scattered spotting through the books. Many of the tissue guards are present. Tear to the fold out map. The books are in good condition, tightly bound with no loose or missing pages; lx,[6], 407, map, [1]- publishers list; x,[6],538pp 23cm x 15cm

Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. 

To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account. You can then request a combined postage cost and I will combine the items into the fewest parcels as possible - saving you money :)
