These rich orange cushion covers were handmade for our antique dining chairs which were all a little different in size.  They are shaped to fit a pad which had cut outs for the back legs of the chair.  They fasten by hand sewing the underside to the top at the base of the piping, see photos.

Four of them have blemishes which I have tried to show in the photos and they are as follows:

49x41 cms:  round and crescent shaped indentations on the underside and a two tiny circles of missing pile.
43x37 cms:  tiny faint brown mark on underside.
44x39 cms:  0.5cm circle of missing pile and what looks like a faint iron mark on the underside.
43x37 cms:  two very faint brown mark < 1x0.5 cm on the front.
42x39 cms:  no blemishes that I can see.  This cover has a seam at either side.

These cushion covers were fashionable in the 1970s and if you want a pop of colour in the grey and taupe palettes of today, these are ideal.
