From a Sam Hughes historic neighborhood estate in Tucson is this original I believe 1930's or so window display poster for Gem razors and the recently introduced "Marbelite" case - an uncommon never used example. It is printed on thin cardboard,  with "COME IN / ...and let us / demonstrate / this new... / GEM / MARBELITE / RAZOR" in red and black.   If you collect advertising ephemera from the Great Depression or have a collection of vintage shaving memorabilia, view this as an opportunity.  Condition is quite fine with strong colors and just a very mild aura of time overall - it was serendipitously protected in a stack of other paper goods, accounting for the excellent state of preservation. While grading such posters is not an area of extreme expertise for me, it is conservatively at least "A" or Very Fine (think C8) on the 10 point grading scale for posters - well, at least as I read the descriptors on line. There a very thin line of mild age toning at the extreme right and top sheet edges recto. A hint of toning verso completes the picture. There are no creases, bends, tears, or any missing portions, and no sign it ever spent any time in a window. A look at the pics should give a good idea of appearance and condition. Size is about 14 in. horizontal and 11 in. vertical. If you seek out shaving related advertising and ephemera from the era of the Great Depression, this will have great meaning for you.
