This is the original 1944 2nd Belgian Colour Edition A23 "special" printed by Casterman. In hardback format with lovely Silver cloth spine.

Rare Tintin items like this are gaining in value right now due to scarcity and age. 

CONDITION: Fair condition considering age and rarity. Cover is decent with rubbing wear and marks/discolouring in places, edges/corners have shelf wear, spine is in place but quite worn with some cracking and wear. Pages are good overall and all there. They have some yellowing to them and blotch marks in places, a good few have small to medium tears, mostly to bottom/side edges. The first 2 pages had large tears that have been repaired. First inner pages have some damage to the centre. No scribbles or inscriptions throughout. Please see pictures.
