UK mainland shipping
All delivery costs quoted are for UK Mainland destinations only, additional charges may
be incurred for deliveries outside this area, this includes; the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Scilly, Northern Ireland, and the Scottish Islands, don't hesitate to get in touch with us before purchasing. Quotes for delivery charges are based on normal delivery conditions, any special measures must be made known to us prior to obtaining the quote. We exercise the utmost diligence in accepting and processing orders and will endeavour to deliver your order to an address anywhere in the United Kingdom.
Our standard parcels are sent using EVRi, FedEx, Yodel, or Royal Mail. We aim to pick, pack and dispatch all orders in the fastest possible time, usually within 48 hours except on weekends and bank holidays. Estimated delivery to UK Mainland destinations is 3 - 5 business days after dispatch from our warehouse. It is possible you may receive your item(s) sooner and we will always endeavour to ensure timely delivery, but some postcodes may take longer to deliver to.
Collection in person (self pickup)
Certain items in our shop are for collection only due to their size, weight, or fragile nature. These items can be picked up from Steed and Fox, or delivered by a third-party courier if you are unable to collect them in person. We are happy to help get a cost and arrange a courier on your behalf or you can arrange for your own courier. Please contact us to discuss the collection or delivery of an item.
Additional delivery information (large bulky items)
Deliveries within the UK are £50 - £160 depending on distance, size, and the weight of the piece. The price quoted is based upon front door delivery. Final rates vary by destination and complexity. Shipping charges may be higher for larger items requiring a 2-man delivery. For an accurate delivery cost or special requests please contact us.

International orders are sent using the eBay Global Shipping programme only.

Payment
All prices in our shop are listed in Pounds Sterling £(GBP). You can pay for your order using all major Credit/Debit Cards, PayPal, or Cash when collecting items in person. We do not accept cheques, postal orders, or currencies other than Sterling £(GBP).
Returns & refunds
Due to the nature of the business, our items are non-returnable unless the item once received is deemed not to be as described in the listing, is faulty (i.e., not working but was described to be in working order), the item arrives damaged, or the incorrect product was shipped. Under these circumstances, shipping and handling charges will be refunded and Steed and Fox will cover the cost of returning the item(s).
Where goods are damaged in transit the buyer is required to co-operate with Steed and Fox in the courier, carrier, or hauler compensation claims process whereby photographic evidence of the damage/loss including all packaging is necessary. The buyer must retain the damaged goods with all the packaging as it may be required by the carrier for inspection upon request. A refund will be issued once sufficient material has been provided to the carrier and the claims process has been concluded.
Goods must be returned before a refund can be processed. The goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse.
You can return an item, under the terms set out above, for a refund up to 14 days after receiving your original order. Any returns request received outside of this time will not be accepted.

All the items we sell are vintage or antique and will inevitably show signs of age and
use-related wear and tear, which undoubtedly add charm, character, and authenticity to each piece. Such imperfections, defects, and damage may include; scrapes, scratches, scuff marks, rust, surface pitting, tarnishing, discolouration, flaking paint, paint loss/fading, dings and dents, chips, cracks, crazing, old woodworm holes, general wear caused by weathering.
We photograph every item from many angles to highlight its features, any damage, and other imperfections that may be present. We always aim to describe any significant condition issues as accurately as possible in the condition report, but the pictures will always be better than any written description we can give. We take the utmost care when describing the condition of each item but sometimes errors can occur.
Electrical items
All our vintage electrical items are graded as working, not working, for repair, or spare parts. Unless otherwise stated electrical items will need to be rewired by a qualified electrician. We strongly recommend that all electrical items are checked, and PAT tested by a qualified electrician before use.
