Vintage, ~Butwin~ Satin 2 tone Athletic Jacket.
from the 1950's. Newmanstown High School, PA.
(i also have a really nice 1956 ~Newmanstown H.S.~ wool felt Pennant, that was found along with this Jacket & it is listed in my eBay store.)
Green , Rayon Satin Jacket with Silver sleeves.
Button-snap front with lower pockets. 'Ruth Mary' in chain stitch at chest.
*small, light areas of alight discolor at Top shoulders (shown in close-ups)
likely to come clean easily.. i did not attempt to clean or launder.
Size: *No Size Tags , Be sure to see measurements below.
Jacket is also reversible & the inside is a Lighter Color,shown in last photo.
*some significant discolor spots from years in storage throughout
uncertain , but possible it will clean out.
Measurements:
Underarm to Underarm (across front): 21"
Shoulder to Shoulder (across front): approx. 18 1/2" to 19"
Length (From Top/Back Collar to Bottom): 25"
Sleeve Length (Top/Collar-seam to Cuff end): 27 1/2"
