Resurrection of the Original 1950's VECO Tomahawk Vintage Control Line Stunt Model Plane RIB ONLY kit with Full Size Paper Plans and copy of original Build Sheet (Instructions)

 

There are a few other Veco type Tomahawk RIB only kits being offered by others but this is the one that preserves and is most faithful to the original 1950s Veco Tomahawk. 

I resurrected this 1950s kit preserving the original intent and design using the most faithful to the original Veco Tomahawk plans available on Outerzone.

Things are not exact to original (but can be if you insist):

The main spar originally was called to be 1/8” x 13/16” balsa stick which is hard to find. The ribs in this kit were adjusted to utilize a 1/8” x 3/4” stick which is readily available.   You can always enlarge the slot to accommodate 13/16" spar if you chose to make one 13/16" tall. I also added 1/4" wing jig holes in the ribs which have no real affect on the integrity of the original model but are most convenient for those of us who like to use wing jigs.

This RIB ONLY Kit Includes My Updated Full Size Printed Plans, a Copy of the Original Step-by-step Instructions, Laser-cut ribs.  NOTHING ELSE

• Sixteen 3/32" Wing Ribs
• Four 3/32" Center Ribs
• Set of recently updated printed plans
• Copy of the original Build Sheet 

 

Some things you will need that are NOT included in this Resurrection Short Kit include but not limited to:

• Any and Everything else that is necessary to build and finish a control line model airplane that are NOT RIBs

 

Do NOT expect for more than what is listed above under "What's Included".

Since this is considered a custom made to order item, there are NO returns for obvious reasons.

I have extensive delivery times because sometimes it can take a long time to get balsa shipped to the shop.  If I have everything on hand, it can take as little as a couple of days to cut and ship.  If you are in a hurry, send me a message and I will check stock before you order.
