Horween leather tannery, based out of Chicago, is the premier producer of Shell Cordovan. I use only Ritza Tiger thread, saddle stitching your product so that you can be guaranteed to be buying a generational product, which, with proper care, will last a lifetime.

I usually get wallet sized products done within a few days to a week, depending on order volume at the time. 

I take great pride in knowing where my supplies come from, and Horween is not only a top notch US tannery, they are GREAT people. You can rest assured that world renowned Horween leather will not disappoint, and because it is hot stuffed it is "self polishing", which means that you simply need to give it a good buffing to bring back that beautiful color and shine.

"Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan® is the art of tanning at its finest..  The irregular oval shaped shells are tanned, stuffed, shaved, and then polished – a process taking at least six months.  Each shell is slowly steeped in gentle vegetable liquors. The shells are genuine hot stuffed then slicked onto glass frames to dry.  Each shell is hand curried and shaved by highly skilled artisans to expose the shell. Dyes are hand rubbed on for a deep aniline finish. Finally, the shells are hand glazed to achieve the rich, glossy look and feel prized by fine craftsmen"
