Offered here is this Antique Solid Wood Side Chair. The chair is made of solid wood and finished in a dark stain with a semi-gloss finish. It has a rush seat that is in fair condition, but it beginning to break at the center, so it will need to be lightly repaired or re-woven. I am unsure of the age or origins of the chair, or of the type of wood that it is made from. The chair is in stable condition, however, there are quite a few scratches to the finish, which is typical of an older piece. The chair also has a small break in the front left leg at the bottom. There is a small piece of the wood missing there, but it does not affect the stability of the chair. The chair is a bit primitive in its design and style. The chair is 32.25” tall at the back, 15” wide at the back, 16” wide at the front across the seat, 16” high at the seat, 17” high at the top of the front legs, 14.5” deep at the seat, 17” deep total. It is a nice old side chair that has a very interesting and unique design and would be a nice addition to your antique furniture collection.
