Glue 88 is a solution of synthetic rubbers, synthetic adhesive resins and modifiers in a mixture of ethyl cetate and developer gasoline.
GLUE CHARACTERISTICS:
The adhesive joint has high elasticity, heat resistance, water resistance and resistance to acids and petroleum products. The glue has excellent bonding quality for most materials, simplicity and ease of use. The glue is frost-resistant (does not lose properties at low temperatures). The adhesive does not contain toluene or other narcotic solvents. During the production of glue, multi-stage quality control is carried out at all stages. Long-lasting adhesiveness of the applied adhesive layer, allowing you to work over large areas.
PURPOSE OF THE GLUE:
Designed for gluing in any combination of the following materials: rubber (especially effective for gluing rubbers based on natural, styrene and isoprene rubbers), thermoplastic elastomers, leather, leather substitutes, leather fiber, tarpaulin, fabric, foam rubber and other cellular and fibrous materials. (paper, cardboard, etc.), metals, glass, plastics (except plasticized), wood, ceramics, etc. When gluing polymer materials containing more than 10 parts by weight of plasticizer, the adhesive can be used as an assembly adhesive. Gluing of polyethylene, polyethylene foam, and polypropylene is allowed. Effective for gluing EPDM membranes. It is used in the manufacture of furniture, the manufacture and repair of shoes, in construction, industry and everyday life.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF GLUE:
Mix the glue thoroughly before use. Apply glue 88 CR 2402 in a thin layer on the surfaces to be glued, let it stand, depending on the porosity of the materials being glued, from 1 minute (for porous materials) to 10 minutes (for highly absorbent surfaces such as chipboard, plaster), compress tightly and leave under load for 24 hours. When gluing materials that absorb strongly adhesive (for example, fabrics), the adhesive should be applied with a brush or spray to both surfaces to be bonded twice with an interval of at least 5 minutes. The recommended temperature for applying glue is 18-22 ºС, humidity - 60-65%. Use the product after 24 hours. Approximately 100–120 g of glue is applied per square meter.
The adhesive film must be dried under natural conditions. The required drying time depends on the temperature and is usually 8-12 minutes. The end of drying can be determined by touch - the glue ceases to be sticky.
Diluting the glue in case of thickening as a result of evaporation of solvents and cleaning production tools with ethylene.
GLUE STORAGE CONDITIONS:
Glue "88" should be stored in a hermetically sealed container at a temperature of -40 to +40 ºС.
