OLD GEORGE WASHINGTON U.S. STAMPS: Lot of Assorted 2 and 3 Cent Stamps ST-179

I'm not good a researching stamps so we're assuming stamps in this lot are 19th or early 20th century U.S. stamps. Happy to update if you have the info. 

-- This stamp or stamps (depending on how many eventually end up in this lot) is/are all intended to be antique United States postage stamp(s) but sometimes world stamps sneak in. You can keep any world stamps as a bonus.
-- You get the exact stamp(s) pictured. 
-- We purchased a large collection from an estate that probably was searched before we got it. I see missing stamps where only hinges now reside. We'll be selling the collection in lots but there were several stamps set aside as singles or small lots that we are posting separately. I assume they are harder to find than the newer ones but that's only my guess.

-- AGAIN: WE ARE NOT STAMP EXPERTS. These old eyes (and frazzled brain) can't always differentiate between a common old stamp and a potentially rarer one. That's your advantage.
-- Starting low on my auctions and letting you the buyer find a fair price for you.
-- All lots weighing 3 ounces and under will ship for only $1 if the price does not exceed $20. 
-- If you win more than one stamp lot, please wait for me to combine so I can save you money on shipping.
-- While I will try to issue refunds if you pay in advance, sometimes I get busy and forget. If I forget, remind me and I'll follow through.
-- Lots over $100 combined ship with signature tracking for additional safety.
-- Some stamps may be uncanceled.
-- Most stamps are used and are for collecting purposes, not for reuse. If they are used, you cannot reuse them. This is how stamps work. 
-- There is also the restriction on using stamps based on national origin. You can only use stamps for postage in the country that is registered on the stamp. All other uses are prohibited and can get you nasty looks from officials and those in "the know." You know who "they" are.
-- The stamps here are from the United States. We hope that clears up any issues about where they should be used.
