The AD8369 is a high-performance digitally controlled variable gain amplifier designed for use in mid-range devices in mobile handset receivers.
The device has a 4-bit digital control gain interface that can be configured for parallel or 3-wire serial control. Gain control is adjustable in the range of 45 dB in 3 dB increments.
It is suitable for digital IF receivers and is rated for common intermediate frequencies: 70 / 140 / 190 / 240 / 380 MHz. The gain stability and flatness of the 20 MHz channel bandwidth is less than 0.1 dB (at 380 MHz). It combines low distortion and the ability to drive 200 or 1 K and can be used as a flexible high-frequency gain control component.
