Vintage mid century c1960s original embossed paper relief 3D oil painting from well listed American artist Elmo Gideon (1924-2010). Depicts an eye catching expressionist street scene complete with figures, horse drawn carriage, towering trees, cast iron street lamps and clock tower. Well done with vigorous yet pleasing lines. Medium is oil paints on sculpted paper done in an Expressionist style. Signed “Gideon” in the bottom right corner. Protected behind glass, matted and framed in a deep shadow box style white painted beveled wood frame. Ready to hang.
