The Park Rangers Association of California (PRAC) is a professional organization for park Rangers and other uniformed park employees of municipal, county, special district, state and federal agencies. Since 1976, PRAC has sought to provide and promote an open forum for sharing experiences, ideas, problems, information, and training. The Park Rangers Association of California is a volunteer, non-profit organization. The elected officers are working professionals who volunteer to benefit the park field. PRAC seeks to establish statewide professional standards for Rangers through certification, legislation and interagency cooperation.
