VINTAGE black velvet full-length evening coat w/white fur (rabbit?) collar. Two large covered buttons on front; one at the neck (under the collar), and one at the waist with a loop to close. Sleeves have a slight puff at the shoulder, very graceful. It is fully lined with white satin, but slightly faded.

No size listed but probably XS/S, and quite long. (Please check measurements carefully.) I took pictures of the tag inside, they read "National Coat and Suit Recovery Board" on one side, and "Manufactured Under Fair Labor Standards" on the other.

This coat is in good condition, but the collar is showing its age. There are a few places where the pelt shows through, but if you are a seamstress, I think these could be tacked down. Also it has a small (1.5") missing square of fur at the shoulder. (See photos). I am a seamstress, and (if it still fit me!) I would be keeping this and finding a small square of fur to insert here, (or replacing the entire collar) but I have tried to price this fairly so that if you are interested, you can still have a really elegant piece with a little TLC.

This would make a great costume, or coat for an evening event if you are not super picky about details. I do not see any rips or tears. Please contact me with any questions.  It is quite dramatic!
