 It is a steel pad with a 2 degree pitch for optimal sanding which allows your S7R edger to cut flatter, smoother and reduces scratch marks.  

This is the smoothest pad ever designed for the Clarke S7R, you can train a novice in one day to be an expert edger.  

Can be used with Hook-N-Loop or bolt on sand paper discs.
