RARE Antique Renault Car 1915-1918 8 Day Clock As Supplied To Russia PEHO 8 дней.

A very rare antique car dashboard clock from early Renault cars supplied to Russia now “converted” to a wall clock.

The large brass cased clock has been fitted into an Oak frame/ surround so that it can now be used as a wall clock but could easily be converted back into a dashboard clock apparently they were originally attached to the dashboard with a bayonet bow.

The clock is in good running order having been well looked after and regularly serviced by the current owner and is in good clean condition with some signs of age and use as would be expected as shown.

Based on some research I believe that these clocks were made between 1915-18 by Renault for use in their cars who also supplied them to Russia hence the Russian wording on the dial PEHO meaning PEOPLE and 8 дней meaning 8 Days.

So there you have it a very rare 1915-1918 Renault Car dashboard clock as supplied to Russia with a running time of 8 days.
