Miss Porter's School Wedgwood plate set - 12 plates

Complete set of collectible plates made by Wedgwood commemorating Miss Porter's Private School In Farmington, CT. 

Miss Porter's School was founded in 1843 and continues to be one of the leading prep schools for young women.


The set includes:

Brick, Colony, Congregational Church, Gay House, The Gundy, Headmaster's House, Humphrey, Lathrop, Library, 

Main House, New Place, and Ward.


All plates are marked, stamped and impressed with Wedgwood makers marks.
Black images on a cream colored plate with flower and ivy sprays around the wavy rims. 

SIZE  10" diameter

CONDITION Pre-owned, unused, in excellent condition. No nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs.  

Three plates; Adgate, Brick, and The Congregational Church, have small black imperfections on the lower right 

quadrant of the plate's edge.

It appears to be imperfections in the finish of the plate.  The imperfections are approximately 1/4" long.
