Offered for purchase is a vintage piece of cut crystal by Hoya based in Japan. The obelisk prism design creates a beautiful Japanese pagoda when viewed from the opposite side (photo 1).
Approx. Dimensions: 8.3 inches in total height. The widest side of the base measures 2.3 inches.
Condition: Very good. There are a few superficial scratches on the base consistent with age and use. (photo 7). There are also a few small air bubbles, which is to be expected with crystal from this period (see photo 6 for example). I did not see/feel any chips on the side, there is one spot on the top of the obelisk that may be a flea bite (photo 8), but I'm not sure.
