Plant will be approximately 5-7” or more inches in diameter, height will vary. These are small as they ship better this way but will grow large FAST so long as they are provided the room to grow. ** Please be aware prior to purchase that leaves my fall off during shipping. Do not worry! Save these leaves! 4-8 ‘Baby’ plantlets will grow from the ends of each leaf if placed on soil *
Under ideal climatic conditions, donkey ears grow rapidly, from 12″ to 18″ inches tall and wide. At maturity, they form large lance-shaped leaves, from 1’ to 1.6’ feet long and have the ability to produce their own roots and develop new baby/pups/plantlets through their leaves.
Donkey Ears Care
1. use well-draining porous soil.
2. place the plant in an area where it receives part sun or filtered light always above 55 Fahrenheit
3. water infrequently - only when the top 1” or 2” inches of soil start to dry out.
4. Growing pots should still have a drainage hole
Description
Succulents are considered one of the most hardy plants in gardening. They are drought-tolerant and have numerous ways of reproducing!
Succulents naturally grow in sunny areas, so make sure to provide ample light for them to thrive; a south facing location is recommended.
Care Instructions
To ensure the health of succulents, it is important to plant them in porous, well-draining soil. Succulents require little watering, but don't like to sit in wet soil. To create an adequate cactus mix, simply add pumice, perlite, or grit to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage.
Make sure to leave drought periods between waterings to prevent the plant from water-logging.
