This is a genuine antique book set, literally a piece of history. If it were sentient, it could tell of over a hundred years full of lives it has touched and hands it has passed through. Every year, more of these irreplaceable treasures are lost-- to fires, floods, etc., or simple carelessness. It is my hope to rescue as many as possible and help them find homes where they will be cherished and passed on to future generations.

All of my antique leather books are treated with Cellugel (which is safe for all book materials) to preserve the leather and inhibit deterioration from red rot. The leather has pre-existing scars, chips, and wear.

There is no date printed inside, but according to the Lucile Project website the publisher, Dana Estes & Company, operated from 1898 to 1914, so this book would have been printed during that period of time.

Previous owner's bookplate inside each volume. No writing, tears or odors. All photos depict the actual book listed; please examine them carefully. If you have any questions, please ask.
