This item/artifact being offered for auction is a so-called 'shipwreck iron' fragment, this found during exploratory treasure salvage operations of Florida's famous 'Treasure Coast', south of Wabasso Beach, Florida, this in the vicinity of the 'Corrigan's Wreck' site of the 1715 fleet.
This artifact measures approximately 30.3mm in diameter X 3.8mm thick and weighs approx. 4.5 grams. Please refer to the photos for more details.
This artifact comes with a detailed, signed, and dated Certificate of Authenticity from El Mar Caribe Treasure Salvors.
