The base unit is compatible with up to 4 lines; up to 9 extensions (wireless desktop units, optional handsets) can be connected to the base station for a complete, customizable phone system. Wireless connections ensure freedom of movement, and DECT 6.0 technology ensures that you will continue to experience call clarity, even at long range. The KX-TGW420B has many convenient features to support your business, to ensure that calls are heard and answered efficiently and that the caller has a pleasant experience. Digital Receptionist answers calls and transfers them to the appropriate extension; 10 programmable ring tones can be set according to your preference; and hold music, do not disturb, and call recording ensure every call is handled professionally.

DIGITAL RECEPTIONIST

The Digital Receptionist System is a flexible communication tool that can enhance your productivity by improving your call management. The Digital Receptionist answers incoming calls and then routes the callers to the base unit or the desired desk phone/cordless handset. The base unit plays the role of operator with the desk phone/cordless handsets as the extensions. If the answering system for desk phone/cordless handset is “On”, callers can reach the desired mailbox using the Digital Receptionist System to leave messages.

CUSTOMIZABLE MUSIC ON HOLD

This unit has a customizable music on hold feature. You can select the following options as music on hold function. – “Tone” (default) : The unit will alert the caller that the call is still active. – “Recorded M.O.H.”: The unit will play recorded music or message. – “Auxiliary In”: The unit will play a custom music or message live using the audio cable provided. – “No M.O.H”: The unit will turn this feature off.
