Victorian Cards - Mother / Daughter Reading by Lamp Light

These are very cool little pieces of 100+ year old design and artwork history. The desirable and unique hand-drawn images, text and subject matter offer a glimpse of a time where color lithography became more prevalent and affordable - and before radio and television would soon take over the product advertising landscape. In their day, these cards were very popular and highly collected. In the time when these cards made, scrapbooking was a very popular and sometimes competitive hobby that incorporated these cards along with other victorian decorative images of the day such as die cut doll clothing sets, advertising trade cards among many others.

Printed on thin card stock. Showing some signs of age but in very good condition with no major issues to note. The edges are sharp, the colors vibrant. No bends, creases, tears, folds, writing or staining.

It measures 3 5/16" x 4 11/16"

This will ship inside a stiff top loader inside a rigid mailer via USPS First Class mail with a tracking number. The shipping cost for the first purchase is $4.00 and no extra shipping cost for additional small item purchases (trade card, token, coin or matchbook) shipped in the same package.
