Description: This is the newest addition to our baby blanket line - a hand corded braided edging. Our lovely handmade blanket for baby may be used to swaddle a newborn baby, and later used as a" tummy time" or lap or stroller blanket. Blanket is made from a single layer of fabric.
Size: approximately 28"-30" square
Fabric: Flannel 100% cotton
Edging : is uniquely ours - hand corded edging is hand sewn to blanket edge to provides a beautiful finished look. Fabric raw edge is professionally serged to help prevent fringing (please see last photo of the back side of blanket); after the serging process, the hand cording is attached to the front side of the blanket, which produces a lovely look (you may zoom in to front facing photos of fabric edge to view). You may note that this new addition to our blanket line creates a different look for those who prefer less of a slight chenille appearance in the braided edge. A lot of handwork goes into making this blanket.
Care instructions: cold hand wash- no agitation, dry flat only.
