Fresh from a trunk of items I bought this morning. This is the 1st of many pennants that I will be listing. When I did a little research I found other examples that had the same image celebrating a battleship in this case- but they had bread/bakery advertising on them- leading me to think they were giveaways to keep the country patriotic during the war years. I sure there were a pile of different designs- I found several this morning. This auction is for the U.U.S. ILLINOIS.
