Formed in 2005 by Tony Diodore (guitar & violin), Jonathan Murray (bass), and Andrew Griffith (drums), M Linx emerged as a psychedelic rock group with a quirky origin for its name. The moniker was inspired by a friend of Diodore's, who humorously referred to a car - a Mercury Lynx with a BMW badge - as a BM Linx.

The band marked their musical journey with the release of their EP, "The Portable Genius," in 2006, followed by the full-length album "Black Entertainment" in 2008. M Linx made their mark through extensive touring in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, gracing the stages of numerous festivals. However, despite their initial success, the band entered a hiatus in 2010, leaving their third record incomplete. As of now, the future of M Linx remains uncertain, with fans eagerly awaiting any signs of a potential return to the music scene.
