HOW WE FORGE OUR DAMASCUS STEEL: Our Damascus steel is GENUINE and not just etched in acid. Damascus steel has composition of 1095 High Carbon Steel and15N20 nickel carbon. We heat them up together and then fold the bar over and over to get the desired layers, we get up to 384 layers and we burn the blade in acid, and it turns the nickel satiny color and the high carbon steel turns blackish gray. This is how the layers are exposed to show the layers of the new steel created coined "Damascus steel". All Damascus steel bars are etched to bring up the layers and cut into the required shape of different blades. All the process is done by hands, we do not treat with CNC machines.

Knife Care Instructions:

Always keep your knife dry and clean after use.
If you need to store your knife, do apply machine oil/food safe oil after drying the blade.
DO NOT TOUCH THE EDGE OF YOUR KNIFE DIRECTLY WITH YOUR FINGERS.
Do not put you knife into leather sheath when you store the knife for long time, you need to place the knife separate and oiled.
Never put your knife in the dishwasher or leave it soaking in water.

Tips for Care of your Knife:
Every Damascus/Stainless/Tool Steel Knife needs proper care from rust for long lasting usage.
To prevent rust, do not store knife in leather sheath for long periods. If you wash the knife, do so in warm soapy water. Wash and dry immediately. Oil or wax the blade to prevent rust also wrap in a soft cloth and store. Wipe excess oil or wax before placing in the leather sheath. If rust appears, rub the blade with a metal polish like Basso or a very fine steel wool, then oil or wax the blade.
Taking care of the above mentioned points can increase the life of your Damascus knife products.

The use of Natural Materials i.e., Buffalo Horn, Stag Horn, Wood & Camel Bone Means That Variations In color & slight Imperfections may be present but make each Knife that much more Unique but same by the design.

This is all natural and handmade manufactured product so minor imperfections may be expected.

Returns:
All returns are accepted with Reason. Buyers who wish to return a product must do so within 3 days after receiving delivery (please contact us for return address and information). The product must be in original condition and packaging when returned. Buyer will pay for shipping while return the product.
