Vintage wood Picture Puzzle "Pointers" Whitman Publishing Company, Made in USA. 
Age about 1930s...Tekwood was patented in 1933 as a material.  Pointer hunting dogs make interesting subject by famous artist.  Artist Gustav Muss-Arnolt is best known for his sporting paintings of domestic animals, especially hunting dogs and horses. He was born in Germany in 1858, and immigrated to the United States in 1890.

NO MISSING PIECES, COMPLETE, 16 x 20 inches with rounded corners.  Some unusual-like shaped pieces like similar to circle, flag, bowling pin, plane, lamp and more, tried to photo some of them. 

Made of TEKWOOD, this puzzle is complete and actually was fun to put together.  As it appears to be from the 1930s it is nearly 90 years old and therefore, somewhat different that newer varieties. 

Used, box complete but as shown in pictures has tape, various types of wear on edges but intact as shown.
