Sterling Silver and Enamel Pat Cheney Necklace Nature Lady pendant, Design Number EP 750; retails for £113. Inspired by the legendary story of 'The Lady and the Lake', this piece features the enchantress Nimue, whose profile can just be discerned at the bottom left of the piece. This charming pendant from the Pat Cheney 'Originals' collection has a definite Art Nouveau feel about its design and the enamelling in shades of cobalt blue, amethyst and mauve really pop!

 

The pendant and chain are both marked 925 for sterling silver and the piece is also stamped with the maker’s mark of PPC.  Approx. dimensions: 2.1 x 3.2cms including bale, chain: 16" and total weight 4.6g.

 

Pat Cheney graduated in 1972 from The Falmouth College of Arts and soon afterwards started specialising in jewellery design. She moved to Scotland and started her own brand in 1976, specialising in unique silver and enamel designs which have proved popular world-wide. In the 1990’s she joined forces with Ortak who still retail her work.
