Antique Hatpin
Description and Notes:
  • Uncommon Antique Hatpin Knife of Gurkha Soldiers Most Feared Brigade Historical Collectible
  • The Brigade of Gurkhas are an unique organization in the British Army with the reputation of being amongst the finest and most feared soldiers in the world. There are currently over 4,000 employed across many trades.
  • The kukri knife size and weight helps emphasize cuts, causing it to cut like a much larger blade. This is from the blade's curved design and weight distribution. The blade's curve also allows for a wider variety of angles to be used in close quarters combat, making it a very effective fighting knife; it can even cut through bone. This type of knife dates back to the 13th century and is still used today in some militaries.
