Many chips - read on

This is a wonderful mid 19th century English blue and white staffordshire transfer printed child's toy tea set.

It consists of:

-Teapot (6-3/4" long)  with lid

-Covered sugar (5" long) with lid -Creamer (3-3/4" long)

-Cup no handles

-Raised edge Saucer Bowl

The Victorian period set, with a light blue transfer printed pattern, features a romantic chinoiserie scene.

All pieces except the creamer have chips. All show age appropriate crazing and staining.  Both lids have interior chips.

The teapot lid does NOT have a steam hole.

The set is unmarked, but the form, light blue color transfer print, and production characteristics clearly put this in the mid 1800's from England.

Thank you
