On offer here is this pair of early antique French carved oak statues,
 Breton man and lady carvings

Typical of the 18th century/early 19th century antique Carvings from this Breton area of France This particular pair of Carvings are quite early 19th-century, probably dating from around 1800-1820.

The Carvings depick a man wearing a tricorn hat in 18th-century French clothing with a tobacco pouch and pipe. The lady also wearing typical French Breton costume is carrying a sheath of wool and a spinning tool.

They both stand on top of beautiful, brass early plinths. There is a piece of paper in the bottom of one of them, which tells you where they’re from, and that they are Breton.

Condition is very good good even warm colour
