Exquisite Antique Art Nouveau Quality 9ct Gold & Amethyst Drop Pendant Necklace

Here is a really lovely antique art nouveau quality 9ct gold & amethyst drop pendant necklace. The necklace chain   measures approx just under seventeen inches with the pendant being a furtherover two inch drop , and is all made of 9ct rose gold, with a lovely rosey patina to the gold. The pendant is so typical edwardian-art nouveau  with a lovely tiny linked chain with a beautiful quality drop with a typical early design  which is encircled, pierced in rose gold with the centre section a lovely oval cut faceted, collet set amethyst with its lovely mid lavender colour & open backed to appreciate the gemstone then a lovely plain pierced drop with a matching drop with a pear shaped amethyst inset which gives a lovely quality finish, it really epitomises the era. The necklace comes complete with its origional bail working well & has some marks on it & the pendant is clearly marked for the early 9ct gold mark, & is totally origional to the art nouveau/edwardian era & just has age associated wear, with a couple of minute solder marks from years ago that cannot be seen but just mentioned for total accuracy, see pics. However this really is a lovely edwardian pendant in very good origional complete condition that looks so lovely worn & a typical fine quality  example of these that would make a really lovely gift.
